17 January 2011 Site The Damned Monty has been getting established in the world of improvised and experimental music. He has recently supported Steve Beresford and Eugene Chadbourne and is headlining at the Open House in Brighton (nr. London Road station) on the 26th January with Graham Clarke. Graham is a fantastic violinist who was part of Viv Stanshall's show "Stinkfoot". Since then he has played with Andy Sheppard and Keith Tippett. Monty got to know him when he was playing with Gong and Daevid Allen's "Magic Brothers".
On the 23rd February Monty will play (again at the Open House) with Ron Caines (who played sax in East of Eden), and Tony Gill, amazing drummer and story teller: an English Ivor Cutler!
