MPJ III Cancelled!

It is with much sadness and regret that we tell you of the demise of Melting Pot for 2003. As you may know, we needed to sell 100 tickets to cover our prohibitive expenses this year and we just didn’t make it. We didn’t even come close. Thank you so much to all of you who put in your hard work and effort to try and make our wonderful festival happen. Maybe next year.


The Good News

We will be having a consolation party to lick our wounds and try to recover some of the lost magic (and lost funds) from MPJ! Come support the amazing volunteers who have invested so much time and $ into trying to make this event a reality and help the bands to recover some of their lost income. Details are as follows:


Details
  • When: September 13, 2003 3pm til the wee hours
  • Where: The Addams Family Mansion in Newton Corner (Beth’s place)
  • If you didn't buy a ticket: $15 donation at the door to support the volunteer losses and the musicians.
  • If you bought a ticket: We will refund the full ticket price for anyone who has already bought a ticket and who does not want to join us for the party. If you join us, please bring your ticket or receipt and we will give you $15 back. Email Julia for refunds or questions at julia@meltingpotjam.com
  • We will have beer and snacks but feel free to bring something as well!
  • Please remember to send us an email if you are not already on the invite list- we are almost at capacity!
