Camp Marshall features 275 unspoiled acres bordering Thompson Pond. For more than 50 years, it has been located in the rolling hills of Spencer, Massachusetts, just West of Worcester. The camp is owned by the Worcester County 4-H Center, a not-for-profit organization, and is governed by its Board of Directors. Rustic cabins provide sleeping accommodations for up to 150 people. In addition, athletic fields, a basketball court, and archery glen are provided for outdoor activities. Great scenic waterfront, and the miles of wooded trails make the facility unique. If any of you have ever been to the Harvest Moon Festivals from a few years back, you will remember the dancing in the field, bonfire in the archery range, camping under the stars or bunking in one of the cabins.
Assuming the same gorgeous weather we have been blessed with in years past, we will be outdoors in a field by the lake during the day and moving into a lighted barn for the evening. Acoustic guitar by the fire in the Archery field will be tended by our favorite MPJ pyro- Fire Marshall Chip.
There is plenty of room for tenting. Cabins are also available to those that want them. Get a whole cabin all to yourself for $50 or just get one bed in a shared cabin for $5.
There will be a game of Glow Rounds (night time frisbee golf) and a camp wide game of 'assasin' with prizes. More details to come soon.
